Construction crews continue to make progress on the Playa Drain Trail – most recently leveling the ground and adding concrete curbs that will be filled with asphalt from Carolina and Durrill Streets, and Mimosa Street to Riverside High School.
Construction is on schedule to be completed by the end of August 2018.

On April 13 and 14, the El Paso District Dental Society partnered with the Texas Dental Association’s Smiles Foundation, Paso del Norte Charitable Foundation and dedicated volunteers to bring the largest, two-day dental clinic to El Paso. The Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM) is a mobile dental clinic that travels around the state providing free basic dental care to Texans with limited resources and/or access to care.

Construction of the 3.4-mile Playa Drain Trail from Ascarate Park to Riverside High School continues to move on schedule. Below are new photos of construction looking east from Ascarate Park and between Little Flower Rd. and Sparrow Dr.
