The Paso del Norte Health Foundation leads, leverages, and invests in initiatives, programs, and policies that promote health and prevent disease in the Paso del Norte region.
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation serves 2.4 million people living in El Paso and Hudspeth Counties in far west Texas; Doña Ana, Luna, and Otero Counties in southern New Mexico; and the municipality of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation was established in 1995 with the proceeds of the sale of Providence Memorial Hospital to Tenet Healthcare Corporation.
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation has granted more than $237 million to over 300 organizations across the Paso del Norte region.
The Paso del Norte Health Foundation seeks to improve the region’s health in three priority areas: Healthy Living; Disease Prevention & Management; and Health Leadership.
