Behavioral Health System Community Progress Summit

The El Paso Behavioral Health Consortium will host a Behavioral Health Summit to share the Consortium’s accomplishments to date and goals going forward, provide a review of Mental Health & IDD Bills from the 85th Legislative Session, and launch the “Okay to Say” movement.

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation (Health Foundation) is partnering with UTEP’s Institute for Healthy Living to develop a route map for a county-wide linear trail in El Paso, Texas.

To maintain your weight: Work your way up to 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity, 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity aerobic activity, or an equivalent mix of the two each week. Strong scientific evidence shows that physical activity can help you maintain your weight over time. A Healthy Paso del Norte 2016 was developed by the Coalition for a Healthy Paso del Norte to identify health priorities and establish objectives to improve health outcomes across the Paso del Norte region. It is an update to the 2012 Strategic Framework for Health, which was the first major effort in the region to develop a collective set of health priorities and goals.
