Creating a Mosaic of Impact - 2024 Annual Report

The boards and staff of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, Paso del Norte Community Foundation, and Fundación Paso del Norte in Ciudad Juárez are pleased to announce the release of our 2024 Annual Reports.

Like a mosaic of Talavera tiles, whose vibrant colors and intricate patterns combine to tell a story of collaboration, dedication, artistry, and heritage, the initiatives of our foundations combine to create a Mosaic of Impact – advancing health, education, social services, economic development and quality of life in our binational, tri-state region.

Community of Philanthropy Impact

Paso del Norte Health Foundation

In 2024, the Health Foundation invested more than $17 million in grants and charitable expenses with hundreds of grantees and community partners to support three priority areas, bringing total grantmaking since inception to over $266.8 million. We ended the year with $288.6 million in assets, up from the initial $130 million in 1995.

Paso del Norte Community Foundation

In 2024, the PdN Community Foundation received $15.8 million in contributions from 10,235 donors and invested $19.6 million in grants and charitable expenses in four priority areas, ending the year with $34.9 million in assets. Since our inception in 2013, the PdN Community Foundation has received more than $151.9 million in contributions and awarded over $117.5 million in grants and charitable expenses, with $384.4 million in total combined giving and $323.5 million in combined assets with the Paso del Norte Health Foundation.

Fundación Paso del Norte

In 2024, Fundación Paso del Norte invested over $1.2 million to advance and support initiatives that improve the quality of life in our region. As we present our 2024 Annual Report, we look ahead to 2025 – a year of celebration and reflection as Fundación Paso del Norte turns 10 years strong. Thanks to the trust of more than 1,200 donors, partners, and allies, we directed philanthropic resources to empower nonprofit organizations, connect visionary leaders, and fuel community action.
