In alignment with the Disease Prevention & Management priority, the Health Foundation invests in initiatives and programs that work to provide opportunities for education, experience, and engagement in the Paso del Norte region.

Healthy Eating
Develop, lead, and invest in partnerships, programs, and outreach that promote healthy nutrition, build skills and knowledge, and support the prevention and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and hypertension.
Diabetes
Develop, lead, and fund organizational and systems improvements, evidence-based programs, and awareness activities for diabetes prevention, early detection, and management.
Mental Health & Emotional Well-Being
Develop, lead, and invest in partnerships, organizations, programs, and communications to promote emotional well-being, reduce stigma and negative bias, and improve access, ease of navigation, and continuity of care for mental and behavioral health services.
