Suicide Prevention — A Time for Compassion and Action

Suicide prevention is a collective responsibility. Let’s unite to raise awareness and support those in need. Research shows that simply asking someone about their feelings in a compassionate way can provide relief for those struggling with thoughts of suicide.

How You Can Help

Ask and Listen: Simply inquiring about someone’s feelings with genuine care can provide immense relief to those struggling with suicidal thoughts.
Recognize Warning Signs: Sudden changes in behavior; Increased substance use; Social isolation; Expressing feelings of hopelessness.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, help is just a moment away: Call or text 988 to connect with a trained crisis counselor. Chat online at 988lifeline.org.
