Creating a Mosaic of Impact through Diabetes and Mental Health Initiatives

Creating a Mosaic of Impact through Diabetes and Mental Health Initiatives

June 24, 2025

In 2024, the Paso del Norte Health Foundation invested $3.85 million in 48 grants to advance disease prevention and management across the region. This funding supported a range of diabetes and mental health initiatives, including public awareness campaigns like “Diabetes: Now What?” and “Signs and Symptoms.”

We also shared key findings from an evaluation report with the Diabetes Alliance and promoted these insights throughout the broader health community to inform future strategies.

In addition to grantmaking, we provided strategic support to backbone organizations and coalitions such as the Diabetes Alliance, El Paso Behavioral Health Consortium, LC3, and ROTMENAS. Our leadership helped strengthen the El Paso Center for Diabetes.

These collective efforts form a growing Mosaic of Impact that spans our binational, tri-state region. Discover more in our 2024 Annual Report by visiting pdnhf.org or clicking here.
