Get your masks on!
April 16, 2020

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending that everyone who is in a public setting wear a cloth face covering. This is especially necessary in areas where social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g. grocery stores, pharmacies, public transit).
Using a simple cloth face covering helps prevent the transmission of the virus to others – especially for people that may have the virus without knowing it. Cloth face coverings are recommended. Surgical masks or N-95 respirators masks should be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders. Watch video
Maintaining 6-feet social distancing remains important to slow the spread of the virus. For questions on how to make or properly wear a homemade cloth face covering, click here.
