November 4, 2026

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation is accepting nominations through March 26, 2027, for the seventh cohort of REALIZE Executive, a leadership development program designed to strengthen established leaders and build organizational capacity across the Paso del Norte region.

The 14-month program will run from March 2027 through April 2028 and is limited to 20 participants. REALIZE Executive provides an individualized leadership development experience for executives and senior leaders who want to strengthen their leadership capabilities and make a lasting impact on their organizations and communities.

How to Nominate a Leader

Organizations and community members can nominate an established leader by emailing the individual’s name and contact information to REALIZE@pdnhf.org by March 26, 2027.

Following the nomination, prospective participants will receive an application with additional program information. The Paso del Norte Health Foundation will select 20 participants for the seventh cohort.

Tuition is $2,500 for nonprofit organizations and $5,000 for for-profit organizations. The cost is shared between the participant and their sponsoring organization.

A Leadership Development Experience Tailored to the Paso del Norte Region

Established in 2010, REALIZE Executive is a regional leadership development program customized to address the needs and opportunities of the Paso del Norte region. The program is built around nine leadership attributes and uses a model of thinking, doing, and being to help participants strengthen their leadership effectiveness.

Participants receive an individualized development experience that includes:

  • A customized 360-degree leadership assessment and individualized leadership goals.
  • One-on-one executive coaching.
  • Seven learning labs led by leadership experts.
  • Two off-site leadership development experiences.
  • Networking opportunities with other established regional leaders.
  • Assessments to measure individual leadership growth.

The program focuses on strategic thinking and vision, the skills needed to lead teams and communicate effectively, and the personal qualities that shape how leaders engage and lead others.

Since its launch, REALIZE Executive has developed more than 100 graduates representing organizations throughout the region. Alumni include nonprofit executives, chief financial and operations officers, school district administrators, chief nursing officers, and academic deans.

Honoring a Legacy of Leadership

REALIZE Executive is dedicated in honor of Robert H. Hoy, Jr., a founding board member of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. His leadership, advocacy, and commitment to mentoring emerging leaders helped strengthen the region’s health and well-being.

Through REALIZE Executive, the Health Foundation continues to invest in leadership development and organizational capacity, supporting a stronger network of leaders working to improve health across the Paso del Norte region.
