Sandra Day
Associate Program Officer

Sandra brings more than 10 years of experience in the public health sector working for nonprofit, as well as the federal government sector. As an associate program officer, she will respond to trends and activities in the community. She currently manages the Healthy Kids and Mental and Emotional Well-being Initiatives.

Sandra has a Master’s in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion from The University of Texas at El Paso. She has a passion for helping others and making a difference in her community through public health. She has a unique background in Hispanic Health Disparities and Border/Minority Health. In her spare time, she loves spending time outdoors with her husband and their four children. They love going on walks, playing basketball, kickball, and soccer.
