Young leaders ready to serve nonprofit boards

Congratulations to the recent United Way Young Leaders Society (YLS) 2022 REALIZE Board Training Cohort. The REALIZE Board training for YLS was developed through a partnership of the United Way of El Paso County and Paso del Norte Health Foundation to increase the involvement of young professionals on nonprofit governing boards. YLS is United Way’s donor network for young professionals developing the next generation of philanthropic and civic leaders.
“It is an honor to partner with the United Way to support the development of young leaders in our community through the REALIZE Board Training program,” said Tracy J. Yellen, CEO of the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. “This program is a great way to be prepare for the critical responsibilities of board service and governance.”
REALIZE Board Training is an initiative of the Health Foundation under its Health Leadership priority area designed to help new and returning board members become even better for the benefit of nonprofits and the region’s health.
