Seeking Public Input for a County-wide Linear Trail in El Paso, Texas
July 18, 2017

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation (Health Foundation) is partnering with UTEP’s Institute for Healthy Living to develop a route map for a county-wide linear trail in El Paso, Texas.
For the Health Foundation, trails and outdoor recreation opportunities are an excellent way for people to get outdoors, exercise and explore their neighborhoods. They also create important connections between amenities (parks, schools, businesses), can lead to economic development and improve overall quality of life.
The Health Foundation’s project team, Sites Southwest/Alta Design, will host two public meetings to introduce the project to the community. The meetings will include an overview of the project, interactive exercises, opportunities for input and a discussion of next steps. Please join us at either or both of the meetings.
