The Paso del Norte Health Foundation hosted a public meeting in mid-July to get additional public input on the proposed county-wide Paso del Norte Trail. More than 100 people attended the meeting that included a presentation by the trail planners from Sites Southwest on the proposed alignment and typologies for the trail. The Paso del Norte Trail will stretch a proposed 60-miles across El Paso County, connecting neighborhoods, providing new recreation options, and promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. The Health Foundation looks forward to finalizing the proposed trail route and working with the community on next steps in the development of the trail master plan.
