Preparing for the 2030 Texas Census

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation awarded a small grant recently to support the Texas Census Institute (TxCI) in preparation for the 2030 Texas Census.

TxCI is an independent, nonpartisan, data-driven, and trusted nonprofit organization focused on census policy and program guidance encouraging census participation so all Texans can enjoy a greater quality of life. Utilizing research, TxCI aims to develop resources to increase public awareness of the most effective ways to ensure every Texan counts.

“We are supporting TxCI to help us prepare for a complete and accurate census count for our community, which forms the basis of many federal public investments in health, education, infrastructure and more” said Tracy J. Yellen, CEO of Paso del Norte Health Foundation.
