Playa Drain Trail Community Meeting

To keep El Pasoans safe and active, the Paso del Norte Health Foundation is partnering with the City of El Paso and El Paso Water to build a linear trail from Ascarate Park to Riverside High School. The planned Playa Drain Trail will run parallel to loop 375/border highway on the banks of a former irrigation ditch.
The 3.4 mile trail will offer opportunity for recreation and physical activity (walking/biking) for use by residents throughout the region and as an alternative to driving for near-by residents, and is part of the Health Foundation’s commitment to making active living the easy choice in our region.
If you want more information on the project or interested in getting involved, make plans to attend one of two community meeting.
