On September 3 and 4, the Fundación Paso del Norte para la Salud y Bienestar invited the Juárez community to participate in Juárez en Acción – a weekend of activities designed to promote gender equality, a peaceful environment, and healthy eating and active living in the municipality of Ciudad Juárez.
Individuals were asked to be part of Juárez en Acción by signing up on the Fundación website to participate in any physical activity to improve their health or the community. More than 40 activities were reported throughout the city, mobilizing more than 2,400 people.
On September 4, Fundación staff and board members joined the Juárez Bravos soccer team at Revolution Park to help others in the community clean and refurbish park facilities for children and families to use. To learn more about the Fundación or Juárez en Acción, visit www.fundacionpdn.org.
