Inspired to Aspire - The Allan and Amy Goldfarb Fund for Health

Allan Goldfarb was inspired to volunteer for the Paso del Norte Health Foundation by former CEO Myrna Deckert. A committed board member from 2010 to 2016, he served as board chair in 2013 and was also a founding board member and chair of the Paso del Norte Community Foundation in 2016.

Mr. Goldfarb and his wife, Amy, are especially committed to creating a region driven by the power of healthy living. They aspire for El Paso to be among the healthiest cities in Texas. Amy was a Division I college tennis player, still active on the courts today, and her parents ran marathons well into their 60s. Allan has been a long-distance runner and cyclist. His parents were active in tennis and golf.

Through their Goldfarb Fund for Health, Allan and Amy are supporting programs and initiatives that promote healthy eating and active living, ensuring that the residents of our region have the knowledge, resources, environment and support to live healthy, productive lives.
