On September 21-22, the Fundación Paso del Norte para la Salud y Bienestar invited the Juárez community to participate in Juárez en Acción – a weekend of volunteering and charitable activity across the city of Juárez. More than 10,000 people participated in a variety of activities that contributed to improve health or the community.
Families, social groups, churches, nonprofits, businesses and individuals organized activities that included cleaning and revitalizing public spaces, sports and cultural activities, food and clothing drives and other projects for the benefit of others.
The event was championed by the FC Juarez Bravos professional soccer team who are ambassadors of this massive social movement.
