The Bowie High School Community Garden (BHS Garden) project is one of six programs in the country featured by Salud America! as Salud Heroes vs. Sugar. The BHS Garden project was selected based on support to fight sugar and bring fruits and veggies to Latino families. The Paso del Norte Health Foundation provided funding for a garden coordinator and educational material. Click here to learn more about the BHS Garden project.
The BHS Garden project is also featured in a video that is participating in a contest by @SaludToday! Six videos share how there program works to increase fruits and vegetables in their Latino communities. Click here to view the video and vote!
