A message from CEO on COVID-19

March 13, 2020

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation is deeply committed to the health and safety of the residents of our region - especially the most vulnerable among us.

Today, we write to share updated information from health officials and also to let you know the additional precautions we are taking as a Health Foundation and Community Foundation.

We have made arrangements for our staff to work remotely with the support they need to provide the best possible service to our grantees, partners and stakeholders.
We ask that as much business as possible be conducted via phone, email or other electronic means to limit person-to-person contact.
We have committed resources from the Paso del Norte Health Foundation to support our health officials and nonprofit organizations to ensure that we share timely and accurate information and reach the most vulnerable in our region.
We have established the COVID-19 Response/Relief Fund in the Paso del Norte Community Foundation to facilitate donations to support the community through the outbreak, if needed.

We will continue to follow the interim CDC guidance for containment, mitigation and social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Below please find a variety of informational links in English and Spanish from the CDC regarding the COVID-19 that we hope you will share with colleagues, family and friends.
