Celebrating 30 Years of Impact: Honoring Leadership and Legacy

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation proudly marks a major milestone—30 years of advancing health and well-being across the region. Since its establishment in 1995, the Health Foundation has remained true to the vision of its founding Board of Directors: to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge, resources, and environments needed to live happy, healthy, and productive lives.

As part of the anniversary celebration, the Health Foundation recently hosted a Past Board Chair Brunch, honoring the dedicated leadership of former and current board chairs. Founding board members Woody L. Hunt, Robert Skov, and Steve Lauterbach shared stories from the Foundation’s early years and reflected on its evolution and lasting impact.

A highlight of the event was the special recognition of Juanita Galaviz, who received an award commemorating her 30 years of service. Juanita has been with the Health Foundation since its inception, and her commitment and contributions continue to shape its mission and success.
