BOOST Network Launches “Spring Into Summer” Campaign to Connect Families with Summer Programs
May 20, 2025
The BOOST Network is excited to launch the 2025 Spring Into Summer campaign—an annual effort to help families across the Paso del Norte region find and enroll in high-quality summer programs that support the healthy development of children and youth.
Every year, the campaign reaches approximately 20,000 young people by spotlighting the importance of out-of-school time (OST) opportunities. These programs offer safe, engaging environments where children and teens can explore interests, build skills, and stay active while school is out. Local providers offer something for every age and interest, from sports and STEM to the arts and literacy.
At the center of the campaign is an easy-to-use, interactive Summer Programs Guide at www.theboostnetwork.org/spring-into-summer, where families can search by location, activity type, age group, and more.
“For many families, out-of-school time programs are vital to keeping children and youth safe, learning, and having fun during the summer break,” said Enrique Garcia Peralta, Healthy Kids Director at United Way of El Paso County. “BOOST highlights the wealth of programs available throughout the region—from science and outdoor adventures to mentoring and music classes—that can make a real difference in young people’s lives.”
The BOOST Network is a coalition of over 100 OST providers serving El Paso County, Southern New Mexico, and Ciudad Juárez. Led by United Way of El Paso County in partnership with the Paso del Norte Health Foundation, BOOST works to strengthen access to quality programs that promote safety, learning, and lifelong healthy habits.
