2023 Behavioral Health Consortia Informed Programs - Letter of Intent (LOI)

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation seeks letters of intent (LOI) from eligible organizations to further the Health Foundation’s goals under the Behavioral Health Consortia area.
Specifically, the Health Foundation seeks LOIs for programs that address mental health and substance use system gaps by increasing coordination among regional behavioral health consortia stakeholders as informed by data. The Health Foundation will not consider proposed programs already covered by other resources to include government funding or by health coverage reimbursement.

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation seeks letters of intent (LOI) from eligible organizations to further the Health Foundation’s goals under the Think.Change initiative to reduce stigma and negative bias associated with mental health and substance use conditions. The LOI must include one of the following interest areas:
- Implementation of evidence-based training to reduce mental health and substance use related stigma and bias among people (i.e., teachers, landlords, service industry workers) who have frequent contact with individuals with a mental health condition and are less likely…

Grantmaking Guidelines
Although the Health Foundation would like to respond affirmatively to all requests, we are bound by a set of priorities and guidelines in the grant making process. Some of the restrictions include: no unsolicited grant applications, no brick or mortar, and no direct payment for acute care. It is suggested that you review each Request for Proposal (RFP) on how to apply for a grant.
