Jana joined the Foundation in 2012. She manages the Healthy Eating and Active Living initiative. In this capacity, she works with grantees and community partners on strategies to improve nutrition and expand opportunities to be physically active in the region. An exciting part of her job is working with coalitions and communities to support and promote policies and practices that provide opportunities for all residents to eat healthy and be active.
Jana has lived in El Paso for 18 years and considers it home. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at El Paso.
