Associate Program Officer or Program Officer

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation is looking for an Associate Program Officer or Program Officer to join one of the largest foundations on the U.S.-Mexico border. Working collaboratively with other staff and community members, the Associate Program Officer and Program Officer positions have the opportunity to develop strategic plans, lead grantmaking, run special projects, coordinate health communication campaigns, and oversee project evaluation within Board approved priority areas. The Associate Program Officer, a position appropriate for a growing professional, will manage already developed health initiatives with support. The Program Officer will manage existing programs as well as lead development of new health promotion initiatives, oversee their implementation, and commission evaluations. Both positions offer opportunities to impact health across the region, including far west Texas, Cd. Juarez, and parts of Southern New Mexico.

Five (5) years experience required for the Associate Program Officer and seven (7) years experience for the Program Officer position. Bachelor’s degree required for both positions and Masters degree preferred for the Program Officer. Experience in philanthropy, program management, health policy, or health promotion required.
