MacKenzie Scott donates $15 million to the Health Foundation for regional health

The Paso del Norte Health Foundation recently received a $15 million gift from philanthropist and author MacKenzie Scott. The one-time, unrestricted gift will support the Health Foundation’s mission to lead, leverage and invest in initiatives, programs and policies that promote health and prevent disease for the residents of our binational, tri-state region.

Our newest mini-media campaign promotes in a clear voice the Diabetes Now What? website and resources available to our community in both English and Spanish. This campaign will run between mid-September and November and is funded by the Paso del Norte Health Foundation. Congratulations to Dr. Linda Lawson on being named an El Paso Inc. 2022 Woman of Impact. Dr. Lawson and five other honorees were selected for their positive impact to the community related to health, education, and quality of life.
