La Semilla Food Center
This training will provide the tools to kick-start a community garden project.
Hands on activities include:
- Community organizing
- Garden planning
- Basic gardening skills
- Nutrition and ancestral wellness
- Plus more!
Who is eligible to register?
All individuals, neighborhood groups, organizations, and education and government entities, are welcome to register.
La Semilla Food Center would like for everyone who is interested to be able have access to this valuable training, therefore we are implementing a fee structure based on a sliding scale. We encourage all those who can afford to pay the full amount to do so, or pay what you can, so that La Semilla can continue to provide this training and create healthy resilient communities.
Registration cost sliding scale*
$190 - Training for one person plus scholarship
$95 - Cost of training for one person
$45 - Partial scholarship request
$0 - Full scholarship request
